8. Working in Photoshop
UP UNTIL NOW, you’ve done all the right things. You’ve set the camera’s exposure, color settings, noise reduction, ISO, white balance, learned how to operate a tethered system, and manage raw files. The quality of your images will be well worth the effort, and you will find that the time you spend in Photoshop is much better spent.
The first part of this chapter is about customizing your Photoshop settings in order to create a productive and efficient digital workspace. In the second part, we’ll take the first steps toward editing and optimizing your images—picking up on the work you’ve already done with your camera.
