I HOPE YOUR MIND is buzzing just thinking about new ways of approaching sketching, and I hope you’ve picked up some new markers and a sketchbook to try out.
We’re about to head into the section with most of the techniques you’ll find in Presto Sketching. First we’ll nail down the basics, and then we’ll move on to sketching more complex objects. We’ll also tackle sketching using visual metaphor, and sketching abstract concepts.
This set of techniques will help you to extract what’s in your head and move it onto paper (or a whiteboard) in a much more satisfying way. You’ll also be putting these techniques to good use in Part III.
