6 Presenting on television

 

 

Conjure up in your mind’s eye a TV presenter. I expect he or she is sitting at a desk, beautifully coiffured, reading the news in a bright studio. In fact, most presentation work is done on the road in all weathers and is much less glamorous. Many presenters may never get into studio operations and even if they do it may form a very small part of their total output. So, on the grounds of doing the greatest good to the greatest number, we’ll look at presenting on location first.
