The photo to the left is an example of traditional Japanese architecture. The Japanese aesthetic does not deny nature but attempts to bring it into the abode in a way that is harmonious. Yes, presentation slides are not the same thing as a traditional Japanese home or tea house, but to the degree they can, our design elements must also work together in harmony.
