I recently heard a marketing director speaking to one of her managers: ‘David, I have just heard that I need to give a presentation to the executive management team at nine o’clock tomorrow morning. They want to know how far we have got with the project. Can you make me some slides by tomorrow morning? If I have them in time for the meeting, that’ll be fine. I’ll just talk through your slides.’
