Preface

Have you ever sat in an audience watching a presenter and thought, “How can anyone stand up before a group, knowing all eyes are on him or her and give a presentation, yet look so at ease and composed?” After all, it’s a pretty frightening notion to think that everyone is listening to each word you say and watching every move you make.

For most people, giving a presentation ranks right up there with things they fear the most. This fact is especially true for novice presenters or those who only present occasionally. I wrote this book to take the fear out of making a presentation or, at the very least, to make the experience one that will be enjoyable as well as enriching.
