Take a Class
A great way to get a leg up on the latest computer-generated visual aid is to take a class on the software. If you haven’t already learned how to develop and present a PowerPoint presentation, for example, maybe now is the time to do so. Although PowerPoint isn’t the right approach for every presentation you do, this technically advanced means of visual support will not only dazzle your audience, but put you in a category of being up on the latest in presentation visual aids. Many night schools offer programs, but chances are you can get a very thorough education in the use of these tools from your audiovisual coordinator at your organization, through an online course, or a purchased tutorial program.
