Teach a Class
Nothing is more closely related to giving a presentation, than teaching a class on a subject you are knowledgeable about. In many ways the dynamics of preparation, delivery, and meeting group needs are much the same. Look for opportunities to teach a class at a local community college, adult or night school, or even a class teaching children how to improve their reading at your town’s library. Take advantage of any opportunity to stand (or sit) before a group and communicate a message or impart knowledge.
