You may be asking what does networking have to do with presenting? For starters, both are about communicating with others and both place a premium on being prepared and professional. Networking events are like mini-presentations except that you are usually speaking one-on-one or in small groups. Who knows, you may even meet someone so impressed with you that he or she asks you to come and give a presentation to his or her group.
