Other Techniques to Engage Your Audience

As you gain more experience you may decide to include some other techniques designed to get your audience to think. Such techniques include quotations, metaphors, analogies, anecdotes, and stories. As you practice using these literary forms of expression, keep in mind that your delivery is as much a factor in its effectiveness as what you say.
