Figure 1.1 shows me on the second day of principal photography on Found In Time. This is the iconic image everyone conjures up when they think about filmmaking. Studios, publicists, producers, journalists, and directors have hooked us on this image because it’s dramatic, and it does convey at least one aspect of filmmaking: creating moments between the cast and their environment while on set.
