Frame Rate

Frame rate refers both to the number of frames per second contained in a source clip and to the number of frames per second displayed by the program or exported movie. The frame rate of source video is determined when it is recorded or rendered. You determine the frame rate of a program in the Project Settings dialog box, and you choose the frame rate of an exported movie in the Export Movie Settings dialog box (Figure 18.2).
