Creating Acceleration or Deceleration

Ordinarily, motion proceeds from one keyframe to the next at a constant rate. Motion options change Premiere’s temporal interpolation method so that the rate can change between keyframes. In other words, movement can accelerate or decelerate from one keyframe to the next. This way, motion can ease into or out of a position, which can look more natural. Note that these options don’t change the time between keyframes. Whether it accelerates, decelerates, or moves at a constant speed, the clip traverses the distance between keyframes in the same amount of time.

To select a motion option:
