Audio Effects

Audio effects or filters not only filter out unwanted sounds, they also enhance or alter audio and create special effects. You can apply multiple effects to the same clip, and you can change their behavior over time. You can even apply the same effect to a single clip more than once, using different settings each time.

Effects in Premiere closely resemble the workings of Premiere’s software sibling, After Effects. In fact, Premiere outright borrows actual After Effects audio plug-ins and should support any third-party audio plug-ins made for After Effects as well.
