Ganging Fade Controls

Usually, you adjust the level of each track in separate passes. Sometimes, however, you want to adjust two or more tracks simultaneously. You can do this by ganging fade controls—assigning them to a group. Ganged fade controls appear with the same color coding and move together as you make adjustments.

To group channel fade controls:

1.
In the audio mixer, -click (Mac) or right-click (Windows) a fade control, to open the contextual menu.

From the menu, select a group for the fade control (Figure 10.55).
