Using A/B Roll Transitions

In an A/B-roll editing layout, clips in the A and B tracks overlap, and a transition is positioned between the overlapping areas. When you add a transition, Premiere automatically sizes it to the overlapping area and transitions properly between one clip and the next. If you adjust the duration of the transition, Premiere automatically trims the corresponding clip to compensate for the change and ensure that the transition will work properly.
