Modifying Transition Settings

Each transition has several customizable settings that affect the way it looks during playback. The specific settings depend on the particular transition. The transitions have settings dialog boxes that can show representative frames from the program or show a sample of the transition, in which A represents the first clip and B represents the second.

To change a transition’s default settings:

1.
In the Transitions palette, double-click a transition. The settings dialog box specific to the transition appears. The available settings depend on the particular transition.
2.
Adjust the settings, and click OK. The transition uses the settings you specified whenever you apply it between clips in the timeline.
