Editing in Trim Mode

After you activate trim mode and choose a cut to adjust, you can perform ripple and rolling edits, and switch between the two freely. Preparing for either type of edit involves the same steps.

To prepare to edit in trim mode:

At the bottom of the Timeline window, toggle synch mode on or off: Synch Mode On— to trim both tracks of linked clips, regardless of the target track (Figure 7.37).
