Finding Master Clips

As you edit in the timeline, you may want to reexamine a clip to see the footage beyond the current in and out points. The master clip may contain another take of the shot or other footage you’d like to see, for example. But as you know, trimming the clip in the timeline would disturb your current edit, and double-clicking the clip in question would allow you to view only the clip instance in the source view, not the master clip. Fortunately, you can view the master clip associated with a program clip quickly and easily, without having to search through your project bins.
