Chapter 7. Refining the Program
After you assemble a rough cut, you can refine it by making adjustments to the in and out points of the clips in the program—a process known as trimming. Although you already know several ways to trim clips in the program, the techniques in this chapter will expand your repertoire.
You’ll learn to use various editing tools to make fine adjustments to clips directly in the timeline. You’ll also learn how you can make subtle adjustments to the in and out points of clips in the program by switching the Monitor window to trim mode (also known as the trim view).
