The problems in this book extend from routine practice to challenging. The problem sets are divided into Level 1 Problems (routine), Level 2 Problems (requiring independent thought), and Level 3 Problems (challenging). Application problems and Modeling Applications are integrated into almost every section of the book, and they are the cornerstone for mastering the prerequisite material for calculus.
