There are several repository hosting services if you don’t want to run your own Git server. These range from services that allow only open source to commercial paid hosting. This section covers a few of the most notable services.
repo.or.cz
The original free Git hosting site, repo.or.cz offers free Git repository hosting to open source projects. It is limited to open source only, but it houses a large collection of repositories.
It is based around the Gitweb package, so the interface should be familiar to those who have set up Gitweb for their repositories. The URL is http://repo.or.cz.
