Wrapping Up
In this chapter we picked up the commands to run Scala—ran some sample code in the shell, learned how to run a stand-alone script, and learned how to compile Scala code. We’re all set to dive into Scala; in the next chapter we’ll start on familiar Java grounds and transition into Scala.
