Part 6Libraries and Frameworks

Writing your own Sass is fun, and with all the knowledge you’ve learned so far, you can definitely write some efficient, easy-to-read style sheets. However, you can go the extra mile by using frameworks and libraries.

You’ll explore some of the more popular frameworks for Sass in this part.

What’s important to note is that some Sass libraries can only be used with Ruby projects—due to Sass historically having to be compiled with Ruby. If your project isn’t Ruby-based, those types of libraries aren’t going to be a good fit. That’s something to keep in mind throughout this part and when thinking about libraries and frameworks in general.
