This chapter is based on the results of a survey completed by forty contributors to Practicing Organization Development (3rd ed.). Those who completed the survey represent an excellent cross-section of professionals involved in the field of OD. Included, for example, are founding pioneers, the authors of best-selling OD books, originators of key OD concepts, many of the researchers in OD, highly regarded practitioners, and those who are relatively new to the field.
