The human resource development (HRD) audit follows all the traditional principles of OD: using diagnosis (consultant-driven as well as organization-focused), done by trained behavioral science specialists, and using participative values. The HRD audit has been extensively used in the last decade, and research evidence is being built to prove its effectiveness as a planned change tool.
