The “launch” phase of organization development (OD) is an interesting, valuable, and potentially high-impact phase of OD and is the heart of the OD process. If done well, the probability of successful change will be very high. If done poorly, the aftermath can be far-reaching.
The term “launch” is a term coined by Warner Burke (2008, p. 257). It is a phase of OD where valuable information is gathered and analyzed.
