SUMMARY
Seeing systems as unique, complex, and adaptive, with their own histories, characteristics, driving forces, and adaptability, will open the capacity for change practitioners to go beyond traditional tool kits into a realm of deep systems change. Using the Landscape Diagram, practitioners are able to identify and observe patterns as they emerge and shift through constraining forces. Using the Eoyang CDE Model will aid in decision making about how best to bring about lasting change—moving a system toward fitness with its environment.
