SUMMARY
The global economic crisis is expected to bring an increase in the number of mergers and acquisitions as organizations combine to cut costs and expand into new markets. Organization development interventions can help organizational leaders minimize the unintended human, cultural, and organizational consequences of integrating previously independent entities, while maximizing opportunities to use the combination to build a truly new and better organization.
