METHODOLOGY FOR THE HRD AUDIT

A team of professionally trained auditors visits the corporation and, using a variety of methodologies, assesses the appropriateness and adequacy of the various HRD systems, strategies, structures, competencies, culture, processes, and impact. A number of methods are used by consultants for auditing HRD. Some of these are described in detail elsewhere (see Rao, 1999). These include:
