There have been many people we've crossed paths with who have had a profound impact on our thinking. Since Practice Made Perfect was published in 2005, both of us have developed new perspectives on the business of financial advice because we both took on new roles—Rebecca as CEO of a very large advisory firm and Mark as CEO of a leading registered investment advisor custodian. This exposed us to an even broader spectrum of people who are making an impact on this profession.
