8.2.1. Creating a dynamic advertising strip with frames

You may have noticed that almost all tobacco advertisements have an additional small strip at the bottom to state something like “Smoking May Damage Your Health.” In practice, an advertising strip on the Web can be anything like simple text output, animated images, and movie clips. This strip is attached to many of your pages at run time. Only one copy of the strip page is needed and it can be updated on a daily basis. As a simple example we want to add a small strip at the top of each page (dynamically). The strip is, in fact, the text message “Please Protect Wild Life!”
