If you are a beginner, do not rush out to the PC store and buy Linux and expect to be up and running in a couple hours. This is also true if you order low-cost noncommercially licensed versions of commercial brands of UNIX, such as Sun Solaris 7, SCO OpenServer 5, or SCO UnixWare 7, to install at home.
