Choosing Databases

Creating a database does not necessarily imply using it. In a multidatabase system, you may have to type a USE, DATABASE, or CONNECT command in order to access a database—or even to create its objects. Nowadays, you're likely to have a graphical user interface to make it easy to indicate which database you want. Check your system documentation for specifics.
