Creating a Sub-Brand

As you go through the process of gathering the design requirements, you might come across some requirements for sub-sites or site collections that require their own branding. The definition of sub-branding is the process of creating an alternate or child brand identity. These brands could be used to indicate a separation of functionality, content ownership, or other criteria. You still want to keep the core branding elements like the header, corporate logo, and footer.
