David M. Fishman is at Sun Microsystems, where he is responsible for availability measurement strategies in the office of Sun's Chief Customer Advocate. Prior to that, he managed Sun's strategic technology relationship with Oracle, driving technology alignment on High Availability (HA), Java technology, and performance. Before joining Sun in 1996, Fishman held a variety of technical and business development positions at Mercury Interactive Corporation in a variety of product management and business development roles.
