Saving Paper with the mpage Command
Years ago, computer industry wags fatuously predicted that word processing would lead to paperless offices. But as many of us have woefully realized, this revolution has instead lead to the demise of erasable bond and correction fluid, and a perverse increase in the use of paper (we had a laser printer in our former office named tree-eater).
If you're a serious Linux user, and if you're serious about saving paper, you should not only recycle, but also use the mpage command to print at least two pages on a single sheet of paper.
