In this Glossary, we give brief definitions of the major concepts in the book. We avoid equations here, so that we give a slightly different perspective compared to what you find in the text. For more information on any item, reference the Index for full descriptions in the text. Each of these items is in one or more WYSK sections. However, more terms may be found in WYSK.

Action ellipse
