Action ellipse

The image of the unit circle under a linear map.

Adjacency matrix

An n × n matrix that has ones or zeroes as elements, representing the connectivity between n nodes in a directed graph.

Affine map

A map that leaves linear relationships between points unchanged. For instance, midpoints are mapped to midpoints. An affine map is described by a linear ...
