Crises Force You to Reevaluate Your Priorities

The most important concept to remember—and this is the hardest one of all—is that if the crises never came, we would never be forced to reevaluate our way of doing things. Then one day, the mother of all crises would arrive, and we would be ill-equipped to survive it because we wouldn’t have taken advantage of the learning along the way.
