Option 2: Ask Other People About the Advisor’s Brand

In a previous chapter I recommended that you get five references from others before you hire an advisor. This provides an opportunity to evaluate the advisor’s brand and how well the brand has worked for others. Are those others like you? Can you see yourself working with an advisor who is well-suited to your reference sources?
