Light It Up with LEGO Lights!

LEGO has been in the lighting business for several years. If you look at some of their older sets, you can see that they were designed to work with the discontinued battery box/motor kit that I discussed earlier in Chapter 2.

Set 970 had some interesting bricks including transparent ones that said “Police” and “Taxi.” This set was first released in North America in 1979 and at the time, only police cars and taxicabs had such illumination.
