Chapter 2. Unity's and Playmaker's User Interface

In the previous chapter, we looked at the process of downloading and installing Unity, Playmaker, and setting up the project for work with this book. You have learned how to move the panels around within the Unity window in order to organize your workflow and how to change some of the project settings.

In this chapter, we will take a closer look at each Unity panel and interface element you have encountered so far, as well as some of those you have not seen, including the Playmaker's Actions panel and the Finite State Machine (FSM) view. You will also learn how to create simple game objects and modify their properties, such as position, location, and scale.
