Prioritize

If you are describing a complex system that will be developed in different phases, or one that will need some iterations, always describe the system design in phases: the essential part of the features can be described first and marked in a specific color (for a prototype or MVP in initial development) with other parts of the feature described later and marked as successive iterations or nice to have.
