The GitLab's issue tracker is, as one might expect, very well integrated with the Git repository management system. GitLab's issue tracker is nice-looking but is not, at the time of writing, very flexible. It might be deemed good enough for teams that prefer simplicity in their tools.

GitLab has a quick development pace, so the feature set might be expected to change. The GitLab issue tracker tracks issues per repository, so if you have many repositories, it might be difficult to get an overview of all the issues at the same time.
