STEP 3.0: STAGE INITIATION
From the previous stages you will have a controlled list of Legacy Data Stores and extract, transform and load definitions tested to a known degree of conformance to requirement. You will know the data gaps that will need to be bridged at load time and, from the System Retirement Policies, data retention requirements of legacy data that is not to be migrated.
Step 3.0.1: review ongoing activities
There may still be Data Quality Rules activity taking place that has either slipped or is still ongoing for production reasons. You will know the state of compliance of these to the Data Quality Rules metrics and will be able to plan in the delivery of these data items and make risk assessments for their late delivery.
