STEP 2.0: STAGE INITIATION
From Stage 1 you will have a comprehensive list of Key Business Data Areas agreed with the programme, a catalogue of Legacy Data Stores and an accompanying list of Data Stakeholders. Each Legacy Data Store will have been analysed and categorized as a:
target Legacy Data Store that will almost certainly have data migrated from it;
Legacy Data Store that may have some item either directly or in validation that may be of interest or;
Legacy Data Store that will probably take no further part in the project.
Your project change management has all these lists firmly under control.
