At the end of this stage the following should be available to be handed over to the next stage.
A complete list of legacy Key Business Data Areas documented to logical data model detail.
A complete list of Legacy Data Stores, documented and under change control. Each will be assigned to one or more Key Business Data Area. Each will have at least an impressionistic data quality assessment. The list will be divided into: those data stores that will almost certainly be used in the migration process; those that may have some item either directly or in validation that is of interest to the next two stages; and those that will probably take no further part in the project.
