STEP 1.5: ENACT DATA QUALITY RULES

For the first iteration of Data Quality Rules we are interested in establishing the size of the problem or the degree of consistency with the rules. In the second iteration we are going to fix those problems. As indicated above, where there is a clearly established knowledge of a data quality problem then the two actions can be planned and documented within a single Data Quality Rules document. Where this happens, measurement must still precede data quality enhancement activity. Remember Golden Rule 4!
