GENERATING DATA QUALITY RULES

Data Quality Rules should be created by the Data Stakeholders but facilitated in their production by the data migration project. What I describe below is the ideal environment for creating Data Quality Rules. I am aware that in the real world in which most of us operate this ideal may not be possible; therefore, I also include pointers to possible work-arounds, but we should strive for the perfect situation where possible.
