A TYPICAL DATA QUALITY RULE DOCUMENT

I am aware that each company, and each project within each company, will have their own documentation standards. What I illustrate here are the minimum items that should be in a Data Quality Rules document for it to be effective.

Introduction

Not everyone who picks up this document will know what a Data Quality Rule is for. Explain briefly the purpose of the document within your project. Explain the process taken to generate the document. A standard paragraph is often enough.
